My list would be about the same as ShermanND except I would move George to #5 or #6 and move the rest up. I like all 1-6. Not too familiar with the rest. Hope to be surprised (sure I will be by some). Also, looking forward to those Armadillos I've heard so much about. 8-)

Top ones are tough. Not quite the 'wet my pants' must see standout act this year, but overall, more bands I feel a need to see and feel excited about. No real peaks or valleys, but very well-rounded, which makes this the most difficult year to rank for me.

1. Seether (saw them at the state fair a few years ago, more songs than I realized I knew)
2. Skillet (I, too, foresee them as being the big surprise this year)
3. Foreigner (Saw them last time they played the Jam. A classic, lots of hits)
4. Sick Puppies (Saw them at NLC in Walker a few years ago. Sure she's pretty, but Emma can really rock it, great stage performer)
5. The Wallflowers (Who remembers "we drove on a 2-lane highway to get here."?)
6. Styx (Seen them a million times, but loads of hits, some I don't get tired of hearing live)
7. Collective Soul
8. Slaughter
9. Alter Bridge (Miles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti. This show could melt your face if you get too close to the stage)
10. Autograph
11. George
12. REO (I may/may not watch. Always good, just have had my fill of them)
13. Don Felder
14. Sublime (I'm happy for those that really dig this band. I hope they draw well and have a great experience playing MDJ. Personally, I've heard them off and on over the radio for more than 15 years, saw their videos while I was in college, listened to the lyrics. Couldn't get into them.)

1. Fabulous Dillos - Missed them last year, would love to see their Pink Floyd show
2. George T. - 3rd time seeing him, lots of good time drinking songs, great entertainer
3. Alter Bridge - Missed Myles last year and I need to hear him sing
4. Seether - I think they will be a good, hard rocking band, not very familiar to me
5. Skillet - Another band I'm not familiar with
6. Badfinger - Time is running out to see British invasion bands, will be fun to hear
7. Sick Puppies - Not familiar, might be my kind of music
8. REO - 6th? time seeing them, Get What You Play For tour w/Nazareth was my 1st concert
9. Styx - Lots of great tunes, they still crank it out. I loved I Am the Walrus last time at Moondance
10. Slaughter - Have never seen them
11. Collective Soul - Some great tunes, but I have trouble listening to a whole CD
12. Don Felder - Great guitarist and great Eagle tunes
13. Autograph - Hope I make it to this one, could be good
14. Wallflowers - A couple hits I think?
15. Sublime w/Rome - Watched some vids, just not interested
16. Foreigner - I saw the real band and it was incredible, this one will be a great cover band for cruising the grounds

So pretty curious, after watching all these bands what was your ranking for best shows?? This surprised me a bit but mine goes like this...
1. Skillet
2. Sick Puppies
3. Wallflowers
4. Collective Soul
5. Sublime
6. Armadillos
7. Styx
8. Foreigner
9. George Thorogood
10. REO Speedwagon
11. Slaughter
....I missed most of the others or didn't see enough of the show to rank due to a few too many. :)

Hard to rank because I enjoyed all of them, but here goes.

1. Skillet, these guys were awesome and would be great to see again anytime.
2. Sick Puppies, I was excited when they were announced and thought they put on a great show.
3. Collective Soul, I was surprised when I typed this, but they really put on a great performance considering they were using borrowed equipment.
4. George Thorogood, always wanted to see him and he didn't disappoint!
5. Alter Bridge, something about Myles that just makes you want to watch the performance. Tremonti is a very good guitarist too!
6. Seether, the Nirvana cover may have been the song of the weekend.
7. The Wallflowers, they were very solid and the fact that they played Heroes made me happy!
8. The Fabulous Armidillos, awesome as usual and heard they will be back. Wednesday is really becoming a must see night!
9. Slaughter and Autograph, great bands that put on good shows and were much more fun at 3 than cover bands.
10. Foreigner, had never seen them and thought they put on a good show, Kelly made my wife's weekend!
11. Mountain Ash, fun to see them again and I love the variety of music they play.
12. Sublime with Rome, fun in the sun and very cool guys.
13. Badfinger, Joey still has a great voice and it's cool to be able to say I saw them.

Felder, Styx, REO, and Hairball were all solid as usual and Hotel California finally gave us a collaboration on the Moondance main stage. Great seeing Tommy and Don trade off solos. All in all a great jam and I am so looking forward to next year already!
