Shame they couldn't find that last Saturday band but it really is looking to be a pretty decent lineup.

So does April Wine have any hit songs in the USA- other then them being a 60/ 70's rock act? Anything that might be played on the radio? I am not at all familiar- and I checked out the Wiki and youtube...

I think 'Just Between You and Me' is one of those tunes everyone may have heard at some point in their life, and when they make the connection with April Wine, will go "oh yeah! These are the guys that do that song? Awesome!" Had many of those moments at MDJ over the years, became a fan of bands I would've never given a chance otherwise. This should add some happy beef to the lineup. At least the dream I had of 2 English bar bands filling out the lineup won't come to fruition. Cavo and April Wine over 'Pink Thunder' and WTF the other one was? Mmm, yeah, I'll take it. :D

Good stories by Davage (or 'Davenge' as Mick put it. Was that a frustrated play on his name over getting beat out for the trophy or a true typo? ) and Darcy. How personable and accomodating our hosts have been. Always approachable and willing to listen, caring.

Cheers!
Doug

Getting around to it. I'm gonna slip back in later tonight to get that stuff done. We've been busy jammin on billboards and posters so that we are ready for next week. We'll get that full lineup up no later than tomorrow, but I will be pushing to get it up tonight even if we have to put a temporary TBA in there. We want to make sure that we have everything up before the next ticket price cutoff next Tuesday. (Yep, all of those folks who insist there is a conspirisy that we wait to post bands until after the ticket cutt-offs won't like this.)
