Yikes
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

From the first tribute band on Wednesday(by the way I believe Comfortably Pink is the Floyd cover band, whoever asked earlier) to Heart on Saturday I will enjoy being at Moondance and listening to the music. Two years ago people were complaining about Buckcherry, all I can say is good thing Sammy followed them because nobody else would have been able to keep up. Never heard of Candlebox or Cracker before last year, enjoyed them both. The Smithereens 2 years ago were a highlight, when they broke into The Who it was great. You never know what you will get, but we will enjoy it. Couple of good newer bands(Hinder, Three Days Grace), some great classic rock(Nightranger, GFR, Don Felder), and then end it with Kid Rock(supposed to be great live), rock and roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty, and Heart. If you only want certain bands then start your own fest and see how that goes. Complain all you want, won't change anything and you will still have fun.(even if you try not to)

I'm glad they put that money towards a good cause. I don't care what you say, IT"S ABOUT THE MUSIC. How many of you would pay $200 to go to see roger waters and stand in the concourse and drink beer with your friends?

It's not about having "all the bands I want", it's about feeling the bands signed aren't a good value. I like Heart, Night Ranger, Three Days Grace and I'd like to see Kid Rock. Grand Funk and Don Felder aren't draws though, they're filler. Paying about $20/band doesn't wash when half of them can be seen for free at Rib Fest or the County Fair and I can sleep in my own bed and not be visiting the in-laws outside of concert times. ;)

I don't have time right now to go through all posts, but wow. Please read the forum rules: ucp.php?mode=terms

If you have gripes that go beyond constructive criticism, please post them here http://www.moondancejam.com/contact.html so that they go directly to Kathy

I see there is a lot of clamoring for Night Ranger at 9 and GFR at 7. I'll pass the word along.

We still have a couple 5s yet to sign for Thursday and Friday. The Atomic Punks and Motley Inc will be on the main stage on Saturday.

I just got the regional schedules and it looks like Chase & Ovation, Bad Animals, Transit Authority and Free Fallin will be back, but the new tributes include Comfortably Pink, Maiden Minnesota, Motley Inc and The Atomic Punks. Other regionals will include Hairball & Mt Ash (obviously), Black Valentyne, The MN Whiskey Pigzz, Cain, Them Pesky Kids, Sugar Buzz, Steel Orchid, Kat Blu and The Centerville Allstars.

The Lazy Moon will have Ozzy Harris Band, Red Dot Garage, Joe Carey, Timmy Haus, Life As We Know It, July Fighter, Deja Voodoo, Mark Allen, Double Shot, Seazon of the Fly, & UnLedded (Unplugged Zeppelin). The Tiki Bar will have Mark Allen, Rock Bottom, Nasty Habit, Sincerely Yours and Goodnight Roxy.

All of these are still getting finalized, so there could be some changes.

Street Teamers, I will be e-mailing you all this week.

Thanks for the updates JWG. I will say that early on JWG mentioned that Heart was fluctuating between headliner and nine, so while you may be disappointed, I don't believe anybody was lied to. Everybody has a right to their opinion and if you are upset with this year, I feel bad for you. It's tough to put out money and not get what you feel to be value out of it. I just can't be disappointed by an evening that includes NightRanger, Grand Funk and Heart.

I know people get disappointed for difference reasons with the lineup. Personally for me, this year's is much better
then last years lineup. I really feel bad for the people that just come for the music because to me and my friends
Moondance is much bigger then the music. Obviously, we love good bands and have heard lots of them over
the last 15 years and Fogerty and Heart rank in my top 10 so I cannot wait to see them again. If anyone that
has not seen them will love them too. Back to my point, OMG there is so much fun to be have at Moondance
when you are not listening to music that it kinda blows me away that people cannot find things to do or people
to meet that gives you value for coming to Moondance. I know it is harder for people that don't camp but for
me to listen to campers complain about Moondance I just don't get it. Go have some fun, do walk abouts, stop
in and drink with different camp sites. Go to the beach, go golf, go do something! Any and all of the that plus
the music is well worth the price. Life and Moondance is what you make it. Thanks for listening. ;)
