So I post 3 times a year and hear is my 2 cents. I am very stoked to have 3DG (thats what us Canucks call them) on the main stage. I have seen them six or seven times over the past 6 years and they are one of the best live acts I have ever seen (pure energy)(maybe not moondance crowd friendly.....until they win ya over). Chris you know me (I am a concert w hore) and I respect your music opinons over mine but you must be stoked as well. New Blood (If you can call 15 years in the concert business....3DG) new blood!
PS missing my moondance family. U know who u are..............all 12000 of ya!

Hi Philly! Miss ya and can't wait to see ya at MDJ! I've never seen 3DG and trust you when you say it is one of the best live acts you've ever seen. Therefore~ I'll be tailing you up to the front:) (((hugs)))

Doug wrote:I can so picture your visit to the bank Ty :D I remember that year you posted as well. My faves were Joan Jett, Skynyrd, and 38 Special. Saturday night was okay. ELO II was different than what I expected. The only instrument I saw on stage that resembled anything classical was the electric violin. I don't remember them playing Strange Magic or Turn To Stone either, and, probably for the lack of the orchestral instruments needed to pull it off accurately, I dunno. Cheap Trick started slow, but amped it up as the night went on. Robin Zander looked like he had been tipping a few beforehand. I'm sure I was pie-eyed and I could even tell, which only means he was probably in worse shape than I was. Their second appearance at MDJ was much more energetic and focused, I thought. It was a good year though overall. That was when the mud pit back in general was roarin' in full force. I got so dirty that year, ended up throwing away my socks and having to wash my jeans twice. Good times, great memories.

I don't remember the year's bands all that well. I do remember though that I really liked ELO part II. I'd really enjoy seeing them again. As for the songs they did I have no idea. I also really enjoyed the Outfield. Would def like to see them play again. I remember them so well cuz for their show I brought a chair to the sand pit. I was standing there and some blonde girl asked if she could stand on my chair behind me. She didn't even try to keep her distance either (if ya know what I mean).

Well, couldn't get online at all yesterday. Guess it worked out pretty well being it was so nice outside. Ty Gal and I did our baby registery. (Yep, we're having a baby). Took us about 4 hours to do that. Our scanner kept crapping out on us. Finally we just wrote down everything we wanted and then went to get a new scanner and BAM!! We registered for everything as quick as we could before it died on us again. After that we went to Famouse Daves. Ty Gal enjoyed her food more than I thought she would. I was glad we went there. Then for the rest of the night we watched two of our nephews. I took them to the park and we played on the slide and the swings and then played some tag. Came back home and found out some things in our house that will need to be baby proofed.

Had a groovy, fun time partying with Cupcake & Shannon and Pepper (Hi, Pepper ~ You lurker, you!!) down at Dakota Magic Casino this weekend... well, maybe I should say the money-donation place since they oh-so-happilly took all the $$ I was playing with. That's just plain mean :x Oh well, the beer was good, the brunch buffet not too bad, and the dancing and the laughing was just what this chick needed. Love me some Honorary Howlereenimoo Girlz :D :D :D

Wishing all a great week!
Cups Up!
