John Fogerty

Thanks for all the input. I'm a rocker through and through, but I did not know it would bring on such great opinions. One thing to make clear is Fogerty DOES rock! I just questioned the position. It is certainly getting harder to find 'ol classic rock bands MDJ has not seen. Don Felder is back and some more key acts to come. Recently MDJ has slowly transitioned into more 90's-2000's bands as the 60-70's bands are disappearing. Last year we had some newer bands that flat out rocked. STP, 3 Doors Down and Candlebox. Not to mention Fuel. I see a call in other posts for Shinedown and some newer bands that will be classic years from now (if not already). It would be nice for some huge acts to come like Petty, Metallica,, AC/DC and the like. Unfortunately they would blow 1/2 of MDJ's budget with one of those acts. One thing for certain, I can wait to rock out with some of the best festival going people I seen.

ROCK ON!

And MAN i hope Kenny Aronoff is playing with him. Seems to be splitting time between Fogerty ans Chickenfoot. Maybe my favorite drummer going back to his Mellencamp days...

Kenny will be playing with Chickenfoot most of the year as Chad Smith will be playing with the Red Hot Chili Peppers this year. Sammy (Hagar) came out and said without saying how different (BETTER) it is playing with Kenny - Tight and always in the pocket, never wandering around. I would think that makes Mike Anthonys job easier as well. But hey, maybe MDJ will sign Chickenfoot???? Every band wants Kenny Aronoff as a session player because they know you need the best to record with. Whatever happens during the recording is FOREVER. You can get away with a sub-Kenny drummer on tour where it's more of a free for all. P.S. Bryan Hitt from REO Speedwagon can definately "bang the skins". http://www.chickenfoot.us/. Kennys websit says March/April with Fogerty and May/June with Chickenfoot. I think Satriani is going back into the studio solo after that so Chickenfoot hopefully will be on hiatus.

Scopions have a big hole in their tour schedule. July 13 in DC through August 4th back in Europe. They would kick some hard rock tail on Saturday night!
