Don Felder, former lead guitarist of the Eagles for 27 years, will be playing the 7pm slot on Friday night of the Jam! Credited with adding a rock and roll edge to their country sound, he wrote the music for their biggest hit, the multi Grammy award winning song "Hotel California". With 14 Grammy nominations and 4 wins, his signature guitar work has become legendary on songs like "Hotel California", "Life In The Fast Lane", "One Of These Nights", "New Kid In Town", and the list goes on.

Seen felder at the jam couple years ago. thought he did a good job, great eagles music... i enjoyed him. I do hope for some fresh meat on stage. Just remember there are many more to be signed . Me im getting ready for the Jam like every year. Im hittin the Puddle of Mudd concert in walker mn at the casino on the 20th of next month and still hittin the jam in july and any other concerts in between

Moondance Jam is a "classic rock festival." Burton Cummings was great if you actually like classic rock, Don Felder was the surprise for me when he was here. I knew he could play guitar, but the vocals were pretty good and it was like listening to the Eagles at 7 with Pat and REO still waiting in the wings. Once again people you are free to go elsewhere, but I will be enjoying MDJ 21 and I know the music will be great as usual!

I never heard one bad word about Burton Cummings performance last year. You have to be kidding or forgetful or just not like classic rock. The Guess Who - American Woman, These Eyes, No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature, Undun, I could go on. He was definitely one of the highlights of the jam last year. And he performed in the heat and sun in black clothes and nearly dehydrated and still had a meet and greet afterwards.

Puddle of Mudd would be fun but I don't think many would call it a great signing.

Actually both my wife and I thought this was one of the more fun performances- Burton was very responsive with the crowd (even as small as it was)- and he and his backing band were having fun.. I know I did .. and agree - it was a highlight..

"Petch" is the first person I have heard say something negative about Burton Cummings performance from last years jam. Just my 2 cents worth but I, amongst the numerous people I have talked to agree that Burton's, was in the top five of all performances last year.

As for "Puddle of Mudd, would be a great signing", for the casino fine but at Moondance not, Please.
Out of curiosity , Petch references only 1 or maybe 2 good signings for this year, who would that be?

Our group loved Burton last year. That being said, I was disappointed in Fuel, and I've heard others who really enjoyed them. Sometimes I think my state of mind affects my enjoyment of the bands more than their performance. Maybe I had a bit too much "fuel" before that show.

Hinder and Kid Rock..Hearts OK too I guess. Fuel was excellent. Last year was just a great line up. When Burton said "now I'm going to slow it down" We all thought...How is possible to slow it down from that? Thus we all got up and left, Plus I didn't care for his liberal anti hunting banter. No politics pleeeease!

I've always liked the Eagles stuff and Felder does it good. I do think the sound was pretty weak at his show in 2010. I'll enjoy this show but hope the sound system is better.
I missed Burton Cummings last year but have always liked the Guess Who. What can I say, I'm an old older!
