Hey y'all ... we're making our first trip to the Jam this Summer. Coming from Dallas ... credit DirecTV with turning me on to this festival, didn't know it existed until I was watching Buckcherry's performance from last year. Wow! My wife and I are sorry we missed the first 19, but will be there this year! She insisted on VIP, so we are going all-out. Never been north of Tulsa, should be a helluva trip. Looking forward to jammin' with y'all in July (and looking forward to some relief from July Texas heat!).

That is awesome! Are you camping? I have done both and believe me camping is where it is at! Takes 9 1/2 hours from Kansas City so you will be having quite a trip. Welcome to the best festival ever!
The music brought me to Moondance Jam. The people bring me back.

Thanks for the welcome guys ... we'll definitely check out Camp Howler! We don't drink but are not opposed to other forms of consciousness expansion.

Not camping. Never been to this area so the wife and I are staying at a lodge (more big bucks) and plan to look around the area. Want to see a Great Lake before we go back to the heat in Texas, maybe wander up to the Canadian border or something.

Been awhile since I've been to a big jam. Last one was when I was a young (very young) marine ... I attended Cal Jam II (Ontario Motor Speedway). Great memories ... well I CAN remember some of it. :D

See y'all in July!

hey, Cupcake,Davage, This will be our third year remember to bring lawn chairs for the concerts, somthing easy to carry from your campsite it could be a long walk if you stay in general, also make note no drinks can be carried into the concert area they make you down em before you go in, then you buy drink tickets at booths located in a couple spots in the concert area no cash is taken by vendors of food or drink in the concert area. camera is a must! enjoy! it is the one event we hope to never miss.

Hey trublu txn just a heads up so you won't be dissapointed, when you get here, if you have not purchased 3nights of camping with your tickets you can't get into the campgrounds at all. only the concert area. looks like it would cost another $130.00 each. $20.00ea more after the 15th of march

Hi youngspirit.

My original post was done about 3 years ago. I'm going to be a 3rd-time Jammer in 2011 :) I've gone VIP the previous 2 times, and have done so again this year. The appetizers, drinks, and shelter from the elements make it worth-while to me. We bought our tickets back in December when they were $325 - a bargain for the lineup that is being pulled together..

I look forward to seeing everybody at the Jam
