Here is a message from James that went up today at his official website.

Ten years may have passed since the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks, but we’ll never forget the extent they changed our nation and the memories of those we lost. For several months since my USO Tour in April I’ve been thinking about what we can do as a community to show our gratitude to our military and civil personnel who sacrifice their lives for us every day… and after continuously banging my head against a wall, I came up with this idea I’ve named the “Honor a Hero” Campaign. Let me know what you guys think!
For the month of September, I will dedicate a page on this site for you to share personal stories about your own heroes. Whether they be family members, friends, active or veteran military members, police or fire personnel, paramedics, nurses, doctors, etc.-- I want to hear what they’ve done for you or continue to do that has made a difference. You’ll be able to upload photos and share your memories of them in any way you’d like.
Basically, my vision is for this to be a place for your heroes to be publicly honored and shown proper gratitude for their self-sacrifice.
Also, to show my thanks, I’ll randomly select one fans’ story from the groups of you wishing to attend each of my scheduled shows in September, and give you two tickets to the show -- as well as a personal dedication to your hero from the stage during my song “Soldiers and Jesus.” I know it’s not much, but I feel this is the least I can do to show my sincere thanks to those who make the ultimate sacrifice, in memory of the Sept. 11th victims.
The forum will open on Sept. 1st, and I vow I’ll take the time to personally read each and every one of your posts.
Thanks in advance to everyone who takes part -- can’t wait to read your stories.
