My Take
Like Hinder, Cavo is a band I knew very little about before they signed to the jam. I had no idea that the song “Champagne” was theirs. That is a very good song that will play very well on the Moondance stage. “Champagne” actually reminds of Buckcherry, who played at Jam 19. Their catchy song “Let It Go” is another song that I knew (and one you may have heard on the latest Transformers movie). The band has gotten a lot of positive reviews on the jam message board and it seems that a lot of people are really looking forward to their show. Their sound definitely fits perfectly in a festival setting. The band is currently hitting a lot of rock festivals, which recent appearances at Rockfest in KC, Rock on the Range in Ohio, and Rocklahoma. I predict a sizable crowd will greet them on Jam Friday at 5pm.
