No teasing, just hoping. I have high hopes. Rush, Van halen, Queensryche, Judas Priest, Foreigner with Kelly Hansen, Boston, even The Mighty Oz. You never know what the mighty wizard is going to send our way

Rush would be tough to swing - they are in Toronto on the 9th and New Hampshire on the 11th. I wish though - they put on a great show.
The music brought me to Moondance Jam. The people bring me back.

Well, hopefully the Mighty Wizard will deliver a few of those, however at least the Wizard could let the JWG announce the starting line-up (5:00 PM) bands shortly!!

What a wasted day, more delay you say, let us pray to keep all at bay, don't go astray along the way or you just may have to stay, just a little bit longer, oh won't you stayayay just a little bit more, no way!!!!!! I do not stay up all night and day for good ol st nick to come down the chimney only to wake up and find nothing, not even a lump of coal. not cool and i am out of here. Pick a date like all the rest, stick to the date and anounce all bands at the same time. It is not cool to have as many people go to this website and sit and wait in anticipation for just a little bit and than have nothing to give. I along with a number of fellow jammers are not going to sit and wait for a maybe, or a i do not know. so long

DANG!! Was hoping to see an uplifting bit of news, but, That's Show Business. Hopefully things will be ironed out soon & we'll be greeted with GREAT NEWS.
Even though I'm as anxious as the next person, I'd rather be informed when things are locked in, rather than before in case things go wrong.

It's gonna be hard to wait so I better keep my mind occupied on something. Not sure what?

Maybe a beer or 12

Like everyone else here I was at least hoping for a tidbit.
My opinion on newer vs classic music at Moondance mixed. I like the variety because I just hang out at camp when something I don't care for. I've been pleasantly surprised by bands I did not think I would like. I like a variety of music and am open minded. BUT some of this seems like a warning that things may veer completely in another direction. I do not want to see country interjected like bomshell was last year unless it is some kickass alt country like the Old 97's. The Foo Fighters and others mentioned I like also. (I'd stay in camp if Kid Rock appeared, but am sure someone would be thrilled)I just don't want to go where it can draw and entirely different crowd.I really don't want to be around a bunch of puking and pissing underagers like some festivals turn into. That is what we like about Moondance. Last year a suggestion was some blues type bands in the mix and I think the Tribute band night is fine. I loved Thund-Her-Struck.
Just my opinion, so don't start tossing bottles in my direction.
My favorites were John Fogerty,Heart,Pat Benatar and ZZTop. My wish/dream list would start with Tom Petty and Neil Young. Hubby's is Bob Seeger. Yes, I know times change.

I remember while growing up... my dad had this weird little desk statue of this ugly bird... younger, I never knew what it meant - it said: "Patience my A SS, I'm going out to KILL SOMETHING!" - and the ugly bird was a vulture (duh). I never really 'got' it, just thought it was ugly and weird.

Guess my dad, like vultures evidently (who knew :) ) had problems with patience...
...and so do we the G.

I KNOW I KNOW, Bill posted that it 'should be' posted by Monday... and now we hafta wait another day, maybe two... we'll be OK. What else are we gonna do for the next 133.5 days anyway but wait... ;) For a lot of us, OK I should only speak for myself but I know there are others, the bands are just the gravy - I'm more curious than anything... but, I'll admit, I'm getting scared it's getting late, and if it's too late, then what?! But, I'm also very glad all the i's are being crossed and all the t's dotted :P cuz I'd hate to have something happen after we think all's said and done.

What a bummer. I was gone all day and was so excited to get home and see the band postings. But, I guess I've waited this long... what's a couple more days, right?? :) Can't wait for the Jam!!

FireSprite and Vikings Woman...Check to see if your Internet Provider uses a proxy server. I've read quite a bit about the AJAX chat when I was having trouble logging on, and one of the reason's that users are automatically logged off is when their IP address changes or is hidden. I think that's what a proxy server does. I'm pretty sure that you can get around it by switching some settings in your internet options. I was lucky enough that all I had to do was switch browsers. I KNOW it's :x frustrating...been there, done that, for like a week before I could get on. Don't give up...and good luck. I have a pretty relaxed day tomorrow and I'll do some more checking for you.

Later
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink Beer all day.
