Pretenders would be HUGE for me....ARS cool too. "So Into You" would sound great in the afternoon 8-)

What is your all-time favorite summer time song?

I just found a fairly new Live version of my absolute favorite summer time song and I had to share it with you all.... These guys would be a great afternoon band at the Jam!

Diesel - Sausalito Summernight -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMh8P-q9 ... ure=relmfu

The Lovin' Spoonfuls: Summer in the City!

It was the original Summer Time Cruising Song.

Hot town, summer in the city, back of my neck feeling dirt and gritty.
Don't blame me, I'm working on rule number 14. :hippypeace:

Had Hi Infedelity in 8 track too, hs was early 80's for me. In fact another way to date myself, Hi Infedelity, Back in Black, and Get Lucky are the three that I have in album, 8 track, cassette, and cd. Under dash Kraco in my '73 Dodge Polara, those were good times. :D

Hello to all of my fellow Jammers!!

Chagen, I really like your pick of "Somebody's Baby" by Jackson Browne for a summer song.

I really have to go for "Summertime Girls" by Y & T.

Heck, I like everybody's favorite summer song, "Sasalito Summers Nights" by Diesel has got to be one of the greatest road tripping songs ever.

Out, Paddy

Fool in the Rain- Led Zep,I know it came out in Dec. but man, I listened to it all the time in the summer of 1980, on another note I see Head East and Uriah Heap are playing together July 13th in Tulsa, That would be a blast to get them at Moondance, Head East could play an early show and Uriah could fill maybe a bit later slot
