Don Felder is Signed for Friday Night!

I've always liked the Eagles stuff and Felder does it good. I do think the sound was pretty weak at his show in 2010. I'll enjoy this show but hope the sound system is better.
I missed Burton Cummings last year but have always liked the Guess Who. What can I say, I'm an old older!

Button Cummings sucked?!!!!? I guess that's your opinion, not a very good one in my mind. Talk about a classic rocker. Would really like to see a few bands who haven't appeared at MDJ for awhile or entirely new signed.

wife and I are attending our first Mondance this year, I finally talked her into spending the money for the 5 hour drive with our camper and the big price tag with it, I am not too impressed as far as the current bookings sit right now, hopefully MDJ will some some good bands in the future, I'm already thinking of Oskosch next year( only one hour more drive), oh well, I'll still enjoy what bands they do have, just not impressed so far

One of my favorite Moondance Jam moments ever was taking a shower early one day right by the entrance and hearing Eagles music. I hurried out of the showers and headed into the venue and Felder was doing a sound check. Played several Eagles' hits for the few of us who made it in to watch. Very cool!

I think this year's signings so far are pretty good, and with Fogerty and Kid Rock, already two good closers. If Heart is the closer, then 3 great closers, if they aren't then whoever is better bring it because Heart will. I know that MDJ will always get bands, if I like them great, if I don't maybe they will surprise me. Whatever the situation, I will enjoy it and have a blast because the five days my wife and I get to spend there are the best days of the year!

I only mentioned his clothing color because I, and others, were worried about him. He was great! Very gracious and appreciative of the crowd and he seemed to truely enjoy performing for them. Now, if we could get him, Cale, and Bachman to do something before they all assume room temperature (they would make a $$$ boatload $$$). It would be awesome.
