I think the Happy Together Tour would be a great show for a hot summer afternoon.

Includes a bunch of pop groups from the 60's. Each group only plays their hits so it moves fast and you know all the songs (if you were around in the 60's):
The Turtles
Chuck Negron (lead singer of 3 dog night)
Gary Puckett and the Union Gap
The Buckinghams
The Classics IV
The Cowsills

I think they are in Moorhead in August---doubt that they can play in both.

JWG, any chance of pre-Christmas clues or announcements?
I woke up this mornin' and the Sun was gone. Turned on some music to start my day. I lost myself in a familiar song...I closed my eyes and I slipped away.
I will choose freewill...
Well I've never been to Heaven, but I've been to Oklahoma...

Golden Earring are indeed still going, but these days rarely tour outside of Holland, unless its for a rare gig in Belgium or Germany
You've been to the hallowed grounds, seen the festival, now read the book about it's history

Thanks for the heads up...If they don't, I might have to see if I could route myself to Treasure Island on my way to Moondance! Blackberry Smoke too, please?
