Might be good for next year https://youtu.be/HC6QJsxRypQ?t=55
You've been to the hallowed grounds, seen the festival, now read the book about it's history

Saw Kaleo at SunFest last year. They get a lot of radio play on Adult Alternative stations here in the US. I thought they were good and had a good sound. My only criticism is that their songs on the whole (not the one you posted) are kinda slow - and that's tough for a standing audience at a festival. But they were definitely a good band.

Gord Downie lead singer of The Tragically Hip died last night of brain cancer. Sad day musically in Canada. He wrote so many great songs.

When "The Hip" played their final show in Kingston Ontario in August of 2016, it was broadcast commercial-free across Canada and was made available for free streaming worldwide. 14 Million Canadians (including myself) tuned in. I didn't realize at the time that there were multiple teleprompters on the stage, because Gord's brain had been affected so much that he couldn't remember the lyrics to his own songs. It was incredibly brave of him and the band to give Canada the gift of a farewell tour.

Judas Priest, Saxon and Black Star Riders are coming to London Ontario next March.

Judas Priest have announced their tour dates, but those dates appear to end on May 1. No summer-time gigs that I've been able to find yet. JP, Saxon and BSR would be a fantastic signing for the Jam!
