Oh too bad. Only have that weekend available - its over 8hrs drive to Shakopee and Im not driving, ine of the other crazy chicks from SRSV "Camp Rehab" is kind enough to roll us down there in her nice ride. Sure would have been fun to hook up. Need pix on FB, yes?. Whysper, would be nice to see you there if thats the weekend you pick. And. Btw, nobody lives further north or closer to the ends of the earth than Ontario Rocker, but Im close. I always say "its not the ends if the earth, but we can see it from a saddle.". At least she gets lakes....ha

Im lookin forward to locking in our campsites for Jam 22 and planning for next year.

I'm up in Champlin, which really is on the outer edge of the planet. The rest of you up there are on different planets, same solar system though.

Last week people were posting comments about set lengths of shows at Moondance and I didn't get around to commenting. I like the way things are set up now. When I'm standing in the pit even a great show can seem to drag sometimes. I would also guess that many of our senior performers appreciate shorter sets and are able to give stronger performances. And of course there is always beverage and bladder maintenance issues. Before the Kiss show last year(I had never seen them before, thank you Moondance) I cut out for a short break midway through Paul Rodgers to empty, refill and return before his set ended to be ready for the next show. It was a strategy that worked great and I will surely use it again.
When we all let go, we get high on rock and roll.

So! All you diehard Minnesota State Fair goers... where is a good place to meet up, near the Grandstand, that has beer & perhaps seating? I think we should pick a spot & anyone going to Kiss/Motley Crue should plan to meet-up for a few brews pre-show!!!

There's a place close to the Grandstand that we always meet up with people before a show, but I'll have to ask my brother what the name is :D This is who's going to the KISS/Motley Crue concert so far. Greg & I, Puma (Angie), my brother Drew, Papa Syko & friend, Wendy & Neil. We actually have one ticket left. It's going to be a great time. I can't wait to see you guys!

COOL... let us know when you find out the name of the place!!! Glad Greg is going, we can get to know him better (while we slam a few quick beers... I work that day, so probably won't get to the Fair much before 5:45) before Moondance Double Duces!!! Do you know where your one ticket left is for (what seating area)? Just wondering if it is close to us...
