Saw Mellencamp a fews ago, wow what a great showman!! He would be a steal if MDJ could get him!! have him play right before Heart!!!
Also, how about Shinedown before Kid Rock!!!!

Anybody have any updates about Mellancamp playing Moondance Jam this year? Any information would be cool...

I don't know why it is but you hardly ever see musicians crossing from Canada into the US and then back during a tour. Seems like they are always here... or there. And there is usually a 2-4 week break between a US leg and a Canadian leg of a tour. The town he is playing in is in the vicinity of Rochester, NY, which is really far away even without crossing the border. Much as I would love to see him there, I have my doubts Mellencamp is playing MDJ this year.
