What do you think about bringing in Allman Brothers and Govt mule for one hell of a weekend? Or is that a little off the "sound" of mdj?

IMO, ALLMANS WERE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE THE LAST TIME THEY WERE HERE. PUT THE CROWD TO SLEEP. SKYNYRD HAD EVERYONE ROCKING AND READY FOR MORE, AND THEN THE ALLMANS CAME ON AND UNDERWHELMED.

IT REMINDED ME OF THE SCENE IN SLEEPING BEAUTY WHERE THE FAIRY DUST PUT THE ENTIRE KINGDOM TO SLEEP. EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED THAT NIGHT.

I'LL PASS.

I have to agree with the previous post, the last time I saw the Allman Bros Band, it was very "lackluster" at best. Unlike the previous times I had seen them over the years.

so don't put them on after someone like that.... Dickey Betts and great southern are great and so is Devon Allman and sure you're not paying the bucks of the Allman Brothers.... its all in the positioning of the lineup... I like to mellow out also. and good blues ... mmm... blues :)

IF THEY PLAYED AT 3 OR 5 I WOULD BE OK WITH THAT. NOTHING LATER THAN THAT.
